I was born and raised in County Armagh in Ireland in a very close knit family. My grandfather was in the masonry trade his entire life and he taught in the Armagh Technical Institute of Further Education.
Of my grandfather's family of five children two boys mastered the masonry trade and are continuing a successful career today.
My first experience with masonry restoration was when my parents bought an old house in the country with the intention of renovating it. I was able to work on this project with my Uncle Patrick and I was able to see the transformation of what was once an old house into a beautiful home in which we were able to live. It was this experience that sparked my interest in the masonry restoration trade.
As I continued to grow and learn more about this trade, I found myself interested in moving to the United States, the "land of opportunity" and seeing what I can do with my experience and knowledge. My goal was to form solid business relationships with good, hardworking people and to show them how they can improve their business by improving the appearance of their investment.
When I first began working here, I had the opportunity to work for a few companies and found that not only did I have the knowledge and experience to be successful but I also had the ability to form honest working relationships with our customers. In this role however, I was only able to provide the type of service that the company believed in and I felt that more could be done for the customer. I believe whole heartedly that the customer's needs should always come first. I believe that with hard work and the ability to understand these needs that this work will not only benefit the customer but also benefit Celtic Masonry Restorations Inc by forming the solid business relationships that I knew could be formed.
